I fell in love with landscapes through plants.
Quick StoryMy passion for plants began at a young age when I realized their power in shaping reality around us.
That curiosity evolved into a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship, leading me to become an environmental activist, ecology enthusiast, and biology student while learning firsthand about farming, permaculture, and subsistence homesteading in Vermont.
These experiences continue to inform my work as a landscape architect, where I prioritize native plant communities and regionally appropriate materials that support local ecologies, strengthen biodiversity, and reduce the need for chemical inputs. I believe thoughtful design can create resilient, beautiful landscapes that work in harmony with the natural systems that sustain and contain them.
For years I ran the Willowtown Community Garden in Brooklyn Heights, NY.
