UNC Chapel Hill Planetarium

The landscape redesign for the UNC Morehead Planetarium reimagined the surrounding grounds to create a welcoming and cohesive campus open space that complements this historic landmark. Developed in collaboration with local architects and university stakeholders, the project enhanced pedestrian circulation, site accessibility, and landscape character through thoughtfully integrated planting, paving, and gathering spaces. The design balances the preservation of the site's historic identity with contemporary campus needs, creating an inviting environment for students, visitors, and the broader community.
